In todays session we will be editing our footage of Mel (main character) playing football, which represents his good talent. We have also decided to cut the footage towards the end therefore we will be showing more of Mels good side and less of his bad side as we do not want to give to much away to the audience.
During the beginning of our teen drama 'GRIND' you are automatically introduced to a variety of different camera shots such as close ups to reflect the passion Mel has for football, low angle shots, long shots to show the characters skills and to also show the setting where this is all taking place.
We believe that the football shots we have included have now made our video and storyline much more clearer for our target audience, and due to us shortening the footage it will leave the audience on a cliff hanger which will entice them to watch the whole film.
